The WingBack from Abus has a minimalist design – and yet it hides some sophisticated functions under its winged design, including technologies from the performance helmets. The WingBack emphasizes its sporty character with deep ventilation channels, thin struts and a separation edge at the rear. The combination of polycarbonate (PC) and polystyrene (EPS) gives it a very light appearance, with a weight of just 250 g. The flutter-free FlowStraps webbing does not need a strap distributor. Excellent ventilation provided by 10 air inlets and 7 air outlets. Forced Air Cooling Technology combines front and rear vents with deep channels for a cool head – plus air scoop (top) for the Venturi effect. FlowStraps: aerodynamic, flutter-free and skin-friendly webbing. In-mould design for a permanent bond between the outer shell and the shock-absorbing helmet material (EPS). Zoom Ace: finely adjustable, height-adjustable adjustment system with easy-grip adjustment wheel for individual fit. Helmet fits well on ponytail wearers – height-adjustable adjustment system at the back of the head creates space for ponytails.
